Sensi Arte is a Contemporary Art Gallery in the heart of Tuscany. Paintings, sculpture, arts and crafts, well-known artists and young talents live together in this fascinating space. The Gallery is a lively centre of cultural expression, art innovation and creative energy. Sensi Arte is a place where we organize events and theme exhibitions on art languages that offer innovative ideas connected with actuality, and put together competences and identities that are sometimes different from the Art world in a strict sense.
Colle Val d'Elsa is located half way between Siena and Florence. Far from crowded towns, but close to many interesting places, this small city does not suffer from mass tourism and so our way to work is free from stereotypes; here you'll find authenticity and sincere genuinity.
Francesca Maria Sensi is Creative Director, she has a degree in history of art and she's an expert of contemporary art.
Sisters Francesca and Emanuela Sensi are the founders and have been owners of Galleria Sensi Arte for twenty years, created and raised in a strategic crossroad of Tuscany. The gallery has been in via Oberdan 4 in Colle di Val d’Elsa since 2019.
Our Gallery organizes exhibitions in its headquarters, and also in other locations, site specific or travelling exhibitions, which are in tune with the beauty of our territory. We exhibit emerging artists, classic artists and historic names in a continuous dialogue.
Our mission is promoting tradition and innovation, and we want to conjugate different fields of interest that are not strictly artistic and that we like, for example chess, Palio di Siena, Yoga, stars, wine and good food, music, dance and cinema.
We collaborate with artists who live and feel our land, and who work with the materials of Tuscan tradition, like terracotta, marble, paper, iron, crystal, and who use traditional techniques like sculpture, photography, graphic and painting. Our characteristic is an obsessive and tireless professionality, that gives us vital energy to realize all our projects. Our collectors are passionate investors, timid aesthetes, and furnishing experts who we love calling Art Lovers.
